Authors/Creators
Description
Abstract of the poster "CLARIAH-CM Madrid Node: A Regional Laboratory for Digital Social Sciences and Humanities", presented at the “DARIAH Annual Event 2026: Digital Arts and Humanities With and For Society: Building Infrastructures of Engagement” in Rome, Italy, 26–29 May 2026. Poster ID: 130.
CLARIAH-CM is a research infrastructure formed by the six public universities of the Madrid region —Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos —. Universidad Complutense de Madrid is coordinating the Comunidad de Madrid Node within CLARIAH-ES and with CLARIN-ERIC and DARIAH-EU. The CLARIAH-CM Madrid Node combines stable funding, coordinated leadership, and a strong culture of collaboration with libraries and citizens to translate European infrastructures into concrete services for researchers and the wider public. Presenting our results at the DARIAH Annual Event 2026 in Rome would therefore offer a valuable opportunity to share a scalable, reproducible model of regional engagement, to discuss lessons learned with other national nodes, and to contribute actively to the collective shaping of DARIAH’s future.
