Description
This record contains the presentation slides from the joint ELASTIC & 6G-PATH webinar “Intelligent Orchestration across the Edge–Cloud Continuum”, held online on 2 April 2026.
The webinar brought together the ELASTIC and 6G-PATH SNS JU projects to discuss how next-generation orchestration frameworks can support efficient, scalable, and secure service deployment across distributed edge–cloud environments.
The session included an overview of the 6G-PATH project, highlighting its work on 6G pilots, trials, validation platforms, testbeds, use cases, and experimentation activities across Europe. It also introduced MIRO – Multi-Domain Intelligent Resource Orchestration, an AI-native orchestration framework supporting intelligent resource and service management across complex multi-domain environments.
The webinar also presented the ELASTIC project, including its mission, objectives, key technologies, architecture, demonstrators, and contribution to secure and efficient orchestration across the cloud–fog–edge continuum.
A dedicated technical presentation focused on Propeller, a lightweight WebAssembly-based orchestrator developed in the context of ELASTIC. Propeller enables portable workload deployment across the cloud–edge continuum, from cloud infrastructure to constrained devices and microcontrollers.
The webinar concluded with a joint discussion and Q&A session, bringing together perspectives from ELASTIC and 6G-PATH on the future of intelligent, lightweight, and secure orchestration for 6G systems.
