AI Assessment Board Pilot Framework
Authors/Creators
Description
AABoard Pilot Framework v1.1 is a formal pilot-governance and evidence-documentation framework developed by the AI Assessment Board (AABoard) for structured AI education pilots.
The framework defines a staged process for reviewing, aligning, preparing, implementing, monitoring, and documenting AI education pilots across K–12, higher education, community learning, teacher professional development, workforce training, adult AI literacy, and physical AI or robotics-enabled learning contexts.
It is designed to support transparent evidence preservation, cross-context comparability, responsible implementation, and future standards development in AI education and AI literacy. The framework includes requirements for pilot classification, document control, phase-based review, alignment mapping, risk and safeguard screening, implementation monitoring, final reporting, Evidence Maturity Index (EMI) notes, registry decisions, and publication-ready metadata.
This release includes the master AABoard Pilot Framework and companion annex templates for required pilot artifacts. These templates support structured documentation across the pilot lifecycle, including internal review, preparation and alignment, training and readiness, implementation monitoring, final pilot summary, registry decision, and optional follow-up or sustainment review.
Use of this framework does not imply endorsement, certification, ranking, accreditation, or product approval by AABoard. The framework is intended to support transparent pilot documentation, responsible review, and public-interest evidence development in AI education.
