The rapid development of the global tourism industry has significantly increased the demand for natural, financial, and energy resources, which in turn has intensified environmental challenges associated with tourism activities. Modern tourism enterprises such as hotels, resorts, recreational complexes, transport companies, and catering facilities consume substantial amounts of electricity, water, fuel, and raw materials during their operational processes. In many cases, the irrational use of these resources leads not only to increased operational costs but also to serious ecological consequences including environmental pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, depletion of water resources, and degradation of natural ecosystems.
