This paper explores the interdisciplinary foundation of science and art as essential elements of human rights. While the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UNESCO, 1948) emphasizes access to culture and education, this study argues that science and art themselves form the essence of human freedom and equality. Drawing on philosophical, sociological, and scientific perspectives, it proposes that the right to engage in scientific inquiry and artistic expression is not merely a derivative right but a fundamental human necessity.
