Unified Filtered Operator Analysis of Experimental Chaos in Optically Injected Solid State Laser Systems
Authors/Creators
Description
We apply the unified filtered operator to real experimental time series data obtained from optically injected solid state laser systems. Unlike classical differentiation, which is highly sensitive to noise and rapid chaotic transitions, the unified operator computes meaningful derivatives only within physically relevant, slow-varying regions. Using a published dataset [1], we show that the unified operator analysis robustly suppresses noise and reveals true dynamical structure, outperforming standard methods for chaotic laser systems.
