Modelling Medieval Manuscripts in Wikidata: Innovating Knowledge dataset

The two datasets included (shelfmarks and production units) were derived from an earlier dataset corresponding to 493 early medieval Western manuscripts containing the Etymologiae of Isidore of Seville, which were collected as part of the Innovating Knowledge project and published on Zenodo in April 2026 (v2.3.7). The datasets published here have been processed further in order to conform to the Wikidata Manuscripts working group data model. They served as a basis for the import of data on 561 modern collection items (shelfmarks) and 493 corresponding medieval manuscripts (production units) into Wikidata in the course of April and May 2026.
