Panasqueira. Mineralogía

This article examines the mineralogy of the Panasqueira Mine, located in the municipality of Covilhã, Portugal. The mine is regarded as one of the world’s most significant tungsten deposits. It is also renowned for producing exceptional specimens of minerals such as ferberite, fluorapatite, and arsenopyrite, which are represented in the mineralogical collections of major museums worldwide. In addition, Panasqueira is the type locality for two rare minerals: panasqueiraite and thadeuite.
