MODERN APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF SKIN DISEASES

Description

Skin diseases are among the most common health problems worldwide, affecting individuals of all ages and significantly impacting quality of life. Advances in medical science and technology have transformed the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological conditions, enabling earlier detection, more accurate diagnosis, and personalized therapeutic approaches. Modern diagnostic methods such as dermoscopy, histopathological examination, molecular diagnostics, and artificial intelligence-based tools have improved clinical decision-making in dermatology. At the same time, innovative treatment strategies including biologic therapies, laser technologies, immunotherapy, and minimally invasive procedures have enhanced treatment outcomes for patients with both acute and chronic skin diseases. This article reviews contemporary diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities used in modern dermatology and highlights their clinical significance in improving patient care and disease management.
