Authors/Creators
Description
This webinar is designed for clinicians and/or researchers who use tools such as the Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) to assess Parkinson’s disease (PD) severity and progression. Presented by Dr. Ece Bayram (University of Colorado) and Dr. Mubasher Qamar (King’s College London), this presentation aims to help you get the most out of the MDS rating scales.
Dr. Bayram and Dr. Qamar currently serve as the chair and vice chair, respectively, of the MDS Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) Training and Education Committee, affording them valuable insight on how to best use MDS scales, how to implement them in study designs, and how to interpret the data. Dr. Bayram and Dr. Qamar will also provide a general overview as to what goes into the development of these scales, as well as which trainings are available.
