Description

1,276 active UK open mic sessions across 86 cities. Each listing carries venue name, city, area, postcode, region, latitude/longitude, night of the week, frequency, start time, signup time and method, slot length, entry fee, age policy, who can play, website and verification status — everything a performer needs to turn up.

Equipment provision and capacity are published as aggregates, not per session. PA, full backline and sound engineer rates appear UK-wide and for every city with ten or more sessions, in the stats and qa files. No personal contact data is published.

Three data files:

  • listings.csv — 1,276 sessions, 26 fields
  • stats.csv — 163 aggregate metrics: headline rates, city rankings, day-of-week distribution and per-city equipment rates
  • qa.csv — 143 question-answer pairs for domain question-answering

Version 2.0.0 replaces a mispackaged first release that contained only the question-answer split and none of the directory. A GeoJSON FeatureCollection of the 1,101 geocoded sessions is available in the HuggingFace and Kaggle editions linked below.
