HNN-core: A Python software for cellular and circuit-level interpretation of human MEG/EEG

Description

0.6.1 Patch Release Notes

This is an emergency patch release to fix an install misconfiguration (see https://github.com/jonescompneurolab/hnn-core/pull/1302 )

Recent changes to Optimizer from the new CMA optimization solver require joblib to be installed for any Optimization to be run. Since joblib is a required dependency of scikit-learn, installing with pip install "hnn-core[opt]" is sufficient, even though [opt] installs some, but not all, of HNN-Core's [parallel] install extras, which are joblib and psutil.

Relatedly, since the GUI can now support optimization, its installation now requires the [opt] packages to be installed as well. This has been fixed.

For the greater release notes that document what has been added since 0.5.0, including important upcoming deprecations, see our Release Notes for 0.6.0 here.
