Description

Review-stage v1.0.8 release of a probabilistic Gaia DR3 catalogue of stars with very low Galactic rest-frame speeds. This version matches the manuscript submitted to The Astronomical Journal on 6 July 2026 (manuscript AAS78818). Primary counts are unchanged: Tier A 289, Tier A plus B 541, and Tier A plus B plus C 1,952.

The release includes the 20,829-source propagated candidate pool, Tier A, B, and C catalogue products, FITS, CSV, and MRT tables, orbit diagnostics, online Gaia Archive source ID verification, scripts, figures, manuscript source, and documentation. Tier A plus B is the primary catalogue, with 541 stars having probability greater than 0.84 of VGRF below 25 km s-1. The broader orbit-summary catalogue contains 1,952 stars.

New in v1.0.8-review: manuscript typesetting only, no data, script, or numerical changes. The aastex631 acknowledgments environment mis-renders under the line-numbers option required at journal submission (overprinting the Facilities and Software block onto the GALAH acknowledgement); it is replaced with a plain section heading, and the bundled PDF now matches the submitted 37-page manuscript exactly. All v1.0.7 content (pre-submission audit corrections, the regenerable smooth-DF eccentricity mock with both Anderson-Darling summaries, and the presentation pass) carries over unchanged. See RELEASE_NOTES.md for the complete changelog. Pipeline scripts are MIT licensed; catalogue data and supplements are CC-BY 4.0.
