TCGA-STAD Dataset for Stomach Adenocarcinoma Research
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset contains processed data derived from The Cancer Genome Atlas Stomach Adenocarcinoma (TCGA‑STAD) cohort. TCGA‑STAD is a publicly available cancer genomics resource focused on stomach adenocarcinoma, a major subtype of gastric cancer, and is widely used for integrative analysis of clinical, molecular, and pathological features. The dataset may include clinical annotations and derived omics features such as gene expression, mutation, copy-number variation, methylation, or other structured variables prepared for downstream bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and machine learning workflows.
This resource is intended to support reproducible research in cancer genomics, including survival analysis, biomarker discovery, molecular subtyping, and multi-omics integration for gastric cancer studies. Matched patient identifiers and related imaging resources can also be explored through TCIA/IDC when applicable, enabling correlation of tissue phenotype with genomic and clinical outcomes
