The Substrate Framework — A candidate Grand Unification Theory that proposes a single underlying field gives rise to all four fundamental forces, all matter, and the structure of spacetime itself. Based on eight foundational postulates that introduce a complex scalar substrate field with a Mexican-hat self-potential, supplemented by a multifield clockwork cascade implementing the Choi-Kim-Yun mechanism over sixteen sites with suppression parameter q ≈ 0.1.
