Currently funded by the European Commission''s Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (DG HERA), the project It is developed to support the European Crisis Management Platform (ECMP), initiative led by the European Commission’s Secretariat General to enable interoperability and harmonization across existing and future early warning and crisis management systems, such as DG HERA's Advanced Technology for Health INtelligence and Action IT system (ATHINA).
