Description

PlaceMUS XR D3.1  outlines the PlaceMUS XR concpetual and methodological framework for creating virtual experiences across musical itineraries in Europe, using sound as the main medium to interpret cultural heritage. It emphasizes concepts of embodiment, multisensory perception, collective experience, and issues like authenticity, accessibility, and inclusivity. The methodology combines site selection, significance assessment, and case studies, organized into thematic itinerary types with narrative and gamified elements. It defines design and technical requirements, including advanced technologies and integration into the ECCCH digital ecosystem. Finally, it addresses sustainability and develops nine European itineraries showcasing diverse musical traditions and contexts.
