B1MGplus D2.6 Use case report

The present document is a deliverable (D2.6) of the B1MGplus project, entitled Use Case Report. The Use Cases (hereafter the ‘UC’) refers to five thematic areas within genomic medicine which were identified as high-priority topics by the 1+MG community in the early stages of the 1+MG initiative. As a consequence, these five 1+MG UCs have been an integral component of the implementation efforts for several years, with each of the five UCs having a dedicated 1+MG WG associated with it.

The purpose of this document is to revisit the five 1+MG UCs within the domain of genomic medicine, in order to assess the extent to which the evolving 1+MG infrastructure and its governance framework continue to meet the needs of the UCs and to contribute to a value proposition for both the user community and decision makers. A broader objective of this exercise is to contribute to the sustainability of the forthcoming Genome EDIC by reflecting on the utility of the Genome EDIC’s offering to the target community. The work reported in the present deliverable is part of WP2 (“Genome EDIC Establishment”) activities of the B1MGplus project.
