Non-Convergence of Meaning and Resonance Conditions: A Foundational Theory of Resonanceverse Based on Misdelivery

Authors/Creators

Description

This paper presents Resonanceverse, a theoretical framework that reframes meaning as a nonconvergent

dynamical process conditioned by misdelivery. While post-structuralist philosophy,

particularly Jacques Derrida, has disclosed the instability of meaning, such insights remain largely

descriptive unless coupled to dynamical models. Accordingly, meaning is modeled as an encoded

state trajectory in Euclidean space Rd, on which differences and norms are well defined.

Formally, ΔMij(t) := Mj(t) − Mi(t) denotes the semantic state difference between two agents

(i, j) at time t, with Mk(t) ∈ Rd. Misdelivery is not equated with ΔM: it operates as an interactiontheoretic

generative layer through which such differences emerge, endure, and are reshaped

across channels. Nevertheless, ΔM indexes how misalignment evolves in the quantitative layer

once states are encoded. Relations are modeled as temporal integrals coupling contextual

weights and differences. Resonance requires the joint satisfaction of semantic, uncertainty, and

value constraints CM (t), CU (t), CV (t); this paper articulates how pragmatic stability emerges

without convergence to semantic identity.

This approach reframes meaning not as a fixed entity but as a persistent, structurally constrained

process of continuous deviation. By bridging post-structuralist philosophy and dynamical systems

theory, Resonanceverse provides a formal foundation for applications in artificial intelligence,

communication theory, and institutional design.
