PUH Theorem 227 — The Q = 2/3 Convergence: Five Independent Manifestations of a Single Rational Across the Standard Model Fermion Sector, the Z_3 Generation Symmetry as Organizing Principle, and the Strongest Internal-Consistency Argument the PUH Archive Has Produced

Description

Across five independent contexts in the Photonic Universe Hypothesis archive, the same rational number Q = 2/3 appears as a structural constant.

T152 derives Q = 2/3 from the Z_3-symmetric Koide parameterization of fermion masses, where Q is the universal Koide ratio (sum m_i)/(sum sqrt(m_i))^2. T155 v2 derives sector phase offsets delta_sector with the leading scale Q(1-Q) = 2/9 modulated by colour Clebsch-Gordan factors.

T222 establishes the three Standard Model fermion generations as the Z_3 orbit on the three mark-1 nodes of affine E_6, where the Z_3 is the abelianization of the binary tetrahedral group 2T (Klein 1884; McKay 1980).

T225 demonstrates that delta_lep = +Q(1-Q) = +2/9 substituted into the Koide mass formula EXACTLY reproduces the empirical lepton mass ratios m_mu/m_e = 206.77 and m_tau/m_mu = 16.82 to all printed digits of PDG 2024 values.

T226 identifies the leading-order PMNS matrix structure with Tribimaximal Mixing (Harrison, Perkins, Scott 2002), whose matrix elements are |V_e1| = sqrt(Q) and |V_e2| = sqrt(1-Q) — the same Koide Q driving the matrix elements of the canonical lepton-mixing ansatz.

This paper consolidates the convergence.

The same rational Q = 2/3 appears in five different physical contexts:

(1) the universal Koide ratio governing fermion mass triples;

(2) the sector phase offset Q(1-Q) = 2/9 in the Koide parameterization;

(3) the count of three generations as Z_3 orbit;

(4) the exact lepton within-sector hierarchy via Koide formula;

(5) the PMNS first-row matrix elements via Tribimaximal Mixing.

Each manifestation is established by a separate theorem with its own derivation; the convergence is the structural observation of this paper.

The interpretation: Q = 2/3 is the central rational of a Z_3 generation symmetry that organizes the entire fermion sector of the Standard Model.

Mass ratios, mixing patterns, and generation count are not independent free parameters; they are different manifestations of the same underlying Z_3 structure.

The Z_3 itself has rigorous group-theoretic origin via the McKay correspondence (T222) — the abelianization of the binary tetrahedral group 2T which is uniquely Z_3 for E_6’s discrete partner.

This grounds the Q-convergence in established mathematics rather than phenomenological fitting.

Honest scope: T227 is a SYNTHESIS paper, not a derivation paper.

The five contexts where Q = 2/3 appears are derived in their respective theorems (T152, T155 v2, T222, T225, T226). T227’s contribution is identifying the convergence as a structural observation about the framework’s internal coherence.

The paper does NOT claim Q = 2/3 explains all Standard Model parameters (it specifically organizes the Z_3 generation sector, not the gauge couplings, Higgs sector, or absolute scales).

The paper does NOT claim this convergence proves the framework correct (external validation requires engagement beyond the archive).

The paper DOES claim the convergence is the strongest internal-consistency argument the PUH archive has produced, and that convergences of this kind are the signature of underlying symmetry rather than fitting freedom.

Three formal synthesis observations and a clear scope statement follow.

Notes

Synthesis paper identifying that Q = 2/3 appears as a structural constant in five independent contexts within the PUH archive:

(1) Koide ratio (T152) — Q is the universal value of (sum m_i)/(sum sqrt(m_i))^2, derived from Z_3-symmetric closure;

(2) Sector phase offsets (T155 v2) — Q(1-Q) = 2/9 is the leading scale, modulated by E6 colour CG factors;

(3) Three generations (T222) — the Z_3 orbit on three mark-1 nodes of affine E_6 via the McKay correspondence with binary tetrahedral group 2T (Z_3 = 2T abelianization, rigorous group theory);

(4) Exact lepton hierarchy (T225) — delta_lep = +Q(1-Q) + Koide formula reproduces m_mu/m_e = 206.77 and m_tau/m_mu = 16.82 to all printed digits of PDG 2024;

(5) PMNS first row (T226) — Tribimaximal Mixing matrix elements are |V_e1| = sqrt(Q), |V_e2| = sqrt(1-Q).

The convergence connects Koide’s 1983 ratio with Harrison-Perkins-Scott’s 2002 tribimaximal mixing — two independent strands of literature converging on the same number 2/3 through PUH’s Z_3 framework.

The unifying symmetry is the rigorous Z_3 = 2T abelianization (T222), not phenomenological coincidence.

Honest scope: this is synthesis observation, not new derivation. Q = 2/3 specifically organizes the Z_3 generation sector; gauge couplings (137, 3/8, 411/8), Higgs sector (1/8), and absolute scales use other structural constants.

T227 does not prove PUH correct — external validation requires engagement. T227 does establish that the convergence is the strongest internal-consistency argument the archive has produced.

The five contexts span algebraic, dynamical, combinatorial, numerical, and mixing aspects of fermion physics; convergence on a single rational across these is the signature of underlying symmetry rather than fitting freedom.
