ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN EDUCATION: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR ADVANCING SUSTAINABLE LEARNING

Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming modern education by enhancing teaching methodologies and
improving learning experiences through advanced technological tools such as intelligent tutoring systems,
adaptive learning platforms, automated grading systems, and learning analytics. This study examines the role of
AI in promoting sustainable learning by facilitating personalized education, increasing accessibility, and
enabling data-driven decision-making within educational institutions. The research is based on a qualitative
approach using secondary data from academic journals, reports, and relevant literature, along with survey
analysis to understand user perceptions and adoption levels.
The results show that AI technologies are widely used and highly aware, especially among professionals in the
IT and education industries. AI-driven technologies are frequently utilized for increasing academic efficiency,
learning new concepts, and providing teaching help. AI greatly improves student engagement, interactivity, and
overall learning results, according to the study. Nevertheless, a number of obstacles still exist despite these
benefits, such as worries about data security and privacy, moral dilemmas like algorithmic prejudice, the digital
gap that affects equitable access to technology, and inadequate teacher preparation for successful AI
integration.
Artificial Intelligence has strong potential to transform education and support sustainable learning. However,
its effective implementation requires proper regulations, ethical standards, improved infrastructure, and
continuous teacher training. A balanced approach is essential to ensure an inclusive and future-ready education
system.
