A hypothesis-testing approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey design, involving 750 respondents selected through quota and convenience sampling across regencies and cities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, creative self-efficacy, and organizational commitment. Furthermore, these variables partially mediate the relationship between servant leadership and innovative work behavior. The findings highlight the important role of servant leadership in fostering a supportive work environment that enhances employees’ psychological resources and promotes innovative behavior in the public sector. This study contributes to the literature by proposing an integrated mediation model that explains how servant leadership influences innovative work behavior through multiple psychological mechanisms. However, the study is limited by its cross-sectional design and the use of non-probability sampling, which may limit the generalizability of the findings.
