Drinking from Three Rivers | Ontological Diversity and Climate Awareness: An Exploratory Workshop For Researchers

The workshop “Drinking from three rivers: ontological diversity and climate awareness” (27th-30th November 2024, Canyelles, Barcelona) is conducted under the framework of the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions ODEEN Project (nº 101104953), coordinated within the Centre for Religion Conflict and Globalization of the University of Groningen and the Research Centre in Sociology of Religions ISOR-UAB. The workshop seeks to explore the impact of intertwining diverse ontological and epistemological perspectives within contexts dominated by scientific paradigms. In order to do so, we wish to involve researchers from a diversity of fields and disciplines who wish to reflect about how their research paths can be transformative at a personal, professional and environmental level. The results of the workshop will serve as the foundation for designing environmental education training programs, specifically tailored for academic and research settings across disciplines.
