Description

Dataset for the manuscript entitled:

"Functionalization and performance of stainless steel 316L using ultrasonically excited Pulsating Water Jet peening".

 

The dataset contains all the data necessary for recreating figures, graphs, and heat maps shown in the article.

The dataset contains scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical microscopy images in .tiff files. The scanning microscopy images are supplemented by .hdr files describing the data acquisition setup.  The rest of the dataset is in .csv tables and .txt supplementary files.

The dataset is separated into folders based on the techniques and figures, as follows:
