Authors/Creators
Description
RU.
EN. The book examines what happens to a payment after the «Approved» response: how authorization turns into clearing, settlement and ledger entries, who bears the risk and when, and where EMVCo and PCI SSC specifications, payment scheme rules and Bank of Russia regulations diverge. Every claim rests on a primary source, and disagreements between sources are marked explicitly. Card networks and Russia's Faster Payments System (SBP) are examined through the same questions: who owns the rules, how settlement finality is reached, what changes for the bank, the merchant and the processor. Written for engineers, architects and product specialists new to payments; the Python samples are covered by tests in the repository.
