Engaja+: Uma Plataforma Baseada em LLM para Apoio a Professores no Ensino Inclusivo de Alunos com TEA
Description
Regular education teachers who work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face an increasing workload in developing individualized pedagogical materials, which are legally required but demand significant time and specialized expertise. This article presents Engaja+, a web platform that allows teachers to register students with ASD, attach a pedagogical report written in natural language, and request the automatic generation of four types of individualized materials via GPT-4o-mini: an Individualized Education Plan, study materials and homework activities, an assessment model, and a gamification strategy. The tool was developed through architectural reuse based on SofIA (ASSERT Lab/CIn-UFPE) and evaluated in a qualitative study involving five teachers specializing in ASD. The materials were positively evaluated by four of the five participants, and all recognized the platform’s potential to reduce teacher workload. The source code is publicly available under the MIT license.
