Bolnova E.V. Poetry collection "The Lost Farm" by V. Sosnora: formal and content aspects

This article is the first attempt to provide a comprehensive analysis of V. Sosnora's collection of poems "The Lost Farm" in its relationship with previous and later works. Specific issues are examined, such as that of the pervasive image of the Mongol, as well as the author's use of the genre definition "lubok". The similarities between the cycle "By the Lake by the Pond" and the collection "The Maiden Fish" are studied. Numerous allusions and reminiscences to the works of previous authors, including Alexander Blok, Marina Tsvetaeva, Osip Mandelstam, Leo Tolstoy, and Fyodor Dostoevsky are established. A general conclusion is made about the cultural relevance of the collection “The Lost Farm” and the orientation of the included texts majority towards the plot. Particular attention is paid to the two final texts of the collection, since in them the author attempts to comprehend his creative path, which marks his awareness of the collection “The Lost Farm” as a boundary, a final one for a certain creative stage.
