Informational Geometry, the 2π-Hz Resonance, and Warp-Drive Dynamics Without Exotic Matter

Description

This paper introduces a unified theoretical framework that merges Beardsley’s invariant‑based warp‑drive resonance with Blackwell’s ODIM‑U informational metric. We show that the 2π‑Hz warp‑bubble resonance emerges naturally as a curvature eigenmode of an extended informational geometry, eliminating the need for exotic matter and reframing warp‑drive dynamics as geodesic motion in a higher‑dimensional configuration space.

The work proceeds in three major steps:

  1. Beardsley’s Invariants A temporal invariant t0=1 s and the associated force constant Fn=hc/t02 define a natural angular frequency ω0=2π/t0=2π Hz. This resonance is shown to be structurally linked to the Planck‑force identity and to a macroscopic normal mode of the warp‑bubble configuration.

  2. ODIM‑U Informational Geometry Blackwell’s Observer‑Dependent Information Metric introduces informational coordinates Ia that extend the geometric arena beyond spacetime. Proper time becomes a function of informational curvature, and geodesics in the extended manifold govern physical motion.

  3. Unified Warp‑Drive Dynamics By promoting the radius field Ru and the shift‑vector profile Ni to informational coordinates, we derive the warp‑bubble resonance as a geometric eigenfrequency of the informational metric. The apparent need for exotic matter in standard GR is shown to be a projection artifact: the full (spacetime + information) geodesic is well‑behaved and energy‑condition‑respecting.

The paper includes a complete variational formulation, a curvature‑eigenvalue interpretation of the resonance, and a clear roadmap for numerical implementation. This introduction establishes the theoretical foundation for the forthcoming simulation papers, where the extended‑geometry model is explored through 3‑D numerical experiments.
