Seamount volcanism associated with Earth's basal mantle structures: Software and Data Repository

This is a repository of model output, python codes, and jupyter notebooks to support the paper "Seamount volcanism associated with Earth's basal mantle structures" by Clinton P. Conrad and Mathew Domeier (Nature Geoscience, July 2026).

This repository consists of three zip files, which contain the following directories:
1. seamounts-main - This directory includes python code (jupyter notebooks) and associated data for computing LLSVP residence time for locations on the current seafloor, and for determining eruption position for seamounts with known eruption ages.
2. residence_time_grids - This directory contains grids of LLSVP residence time, as shown in Figures 1C and 1D, and Extended Data Figures 2, 3, and 4.
3. SELT_grids - This directory contains grids of the seafloor equivalent layer thickness (SELT), and shown in Figure 1B and Extended Data Figure 1.
