Description
This dataset contains the complete computational and empirical results supporting the study:
"From Synthetic BOLD to Resting-State fMRI: A Comprehensive Validation of Weighted Permutation Entropy for Characterizing Cortical Complexity".
The dataset includes:
- Synthetic BOLD simulations across canonical dynamical systems (Lorenz, Rössler, AR processes, noise models)
- Validation experiments assessing complexity hierarchy, noise robustness, convergence, and parameter sensitivity
- Outputs from a realistic hemodynamic BOLD pipeline (TR = 2s)
- Empirical results from resting-state fMRI data (ABIDE I dataset, n=284 subjects)
- Summary statistics, linear mixed model results, and processed outputs used in the manuscript
- Supplementary materials and intermediate representations
All simulations were performed with fixed parameters (m=4, tau=15) and seed=42 to ensure full reproducibility.
