Line transect counts of Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus) and Black grouse (Tetrao tetrix) in central Sweden, 1980 - 2024

Here are five files used to analyze population development of Capercaillie and Black Grouse from line transects in mid-July:

DATA:

The columns are:
1 Year
2 Total Adults observed.
3 Total Females observed.
4 Total Young observed.
5 Last day of frost in May, standardized.
6 Proportion of 21-40 old forest in thew study area, logit transformed.
7 Average snow septh in January and February, standarized.
8 Spring numbers of voles, standardized.

Analysis:
