Gender Equality Education for Primary Students Through Teaching Nature and Society
Description
Gender equality in education is a foundational condition for building a fair and sustainable society. However, gender inequality persists, particularly through gender prejudice and unequal participation. This article utilizes theoretical analysis to clarify the scientific basis of gender equality education and proposes integrated pedagogical measures for the "Nature and Society" subject in primary schools. Research results indicate that: (1) gender inequality is reinforced through the educational environment; (2) primary education is a decisive stage for gender perception; (3) the Nature and Society subject provides significant potential for integration. The article proposes a system of measures including content design, activity organization, classroom environment construction, and gender-sensitive assessment.
