Description

Abstract Holistic child health nursing is a comprehensive approach that integrates physical, emotional, and developmental aspects of care to promote optimal well-being in children. Unlike traditional models that primarily focus on disease management, holistic nursing recognizes the interconnected nature of a child's growth, emotions, and environment. This article explores the significance of integrating multiple dimensions of care, emphasizing family-centred practices and developmental support systems. Evidence suggests that children receiving holistic care demonstrate improved emotional resilience, better cognitive outcomes, and enhanced physical health. The article further highlights the role of nurses in implementing these practices through continuous assessment, parental involvement, and supportive interventions. Challenges such as limited resources and lack of training are also discussed, along with future directions for strengthening holistic nursing practices. Keywords: Holistic Care, Paediatric Nursing, Emotional Development, Developmental Care, Child Health.
