This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of forming and implementing a sustainable development strategy for enterprises. The study examines the main principles of the sustainable development concept, strategic management mechanisms in enterprises, and their impact on economic efficiency based on an evolutionary approach. Additionally, issues of ensuring the balance of environmental, social, and economic factors in enterprise activities, as well as innovative development and increasing competitiveness, are discussed. The research results substantiate that implementing a sustainable development strategy enables enterprises to enhance long-term performance, ensure efficient use of resources, and maintain adaptability to changes in the external environment.
