Microbiome-Derived Indole-3-Lactic Acid for Aryl-Hydrocarbon Receptor Activation
Description
Gut microbiota produce indole-3-lactic acid which activates aryl-hydrocarbon receptors, reducing amyloidopathy through neuroinflammation modulation. Faecalibacterium prausnitzii strains show specific benefits for Alzheimer's pathology. This represents a microbiome-brain axis intervention targeting both peripheral inflammation and central amyloid pathology.
