Clemastine Fumarate for Oligodendrocyte Remyelination in MSA
Description
Clemastine fumarate enhances oligodendrocyte precursor cell differentiation through muscarinic M1/M3 receptor antagonism and promotes myelin basic protein expression. This H1 antihistamine stimulates remyelination by activating the ERK1/2 pathway and increasing mature oligodendrocyte survival in MSA-affected white matter tracts.
