Description

Clinical trial NCT07530965 is testing flaxseed omega-3 fatty acids in SCD children. BCL11A (transcription factor, UniProt Q9H165) has 0.47 association score with SCD (Open Targets) and regulates fetal hemoglobin. Omega-3s may enhance BCL11A-targeted therapies by reducing inflammation via cytokine-cytokine receptor interactions (KEGG hsa04060, linked to HBB).
