In the Maxwellian era, truth was perceived as a "procedural truth" residing in the operation of mechanisms, where time functioned as an endogenous variable emerging from energy evolution, and mathematics served merely as a shorthand for recording physical intuition. The physical logic of this period emphasized the dynamic interaction of matter, the stress of the medium, and the foundational status of the Vector Potential (A) as physical reality.
