FREE Project Questionnaire for Academics

This poster is designed  for a questionnaire which was  part of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education - Call for Proposals EAC/A05/2017, 598524-EPP-1-2018-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. The project is entitled Female Academic Role Model Empowerment, Equality and Sustainability at Universities in Mediterranean Region: towards 2030 Agenda.  The following Questionnaire aims at finding the current institutional policies and practices regarding Gender Equality. The 2030 Agenda of United Nations and the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Mediterranean Region, specifically focusing on the 5th goal of achieving Gender Equality, will also be one of the benchmarking items to be presented to the European Commission as part of the project’s analysis. 

Gender Equality is the fifth aim after: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well-being, and Quality Education. In fact, Gender equality "is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world" according to the UNGA. This Questionnaire deals with the issue of women's rights at the universities in the region. It's about women's struggle, achievements and expectations. How they maintain the balance between professional and personal life?
It's about gender parity and equal representation of women at different working levels. We want to identify the obstacles that hinder women's career advancement. Do Women lack of ambition, have they built these barriers themselves? Or do they come from the work environment, laws, mentalities, gender discrimination, stereotyping and workplace harassment? 

This questionnaire aims at academics, to identify obstacles that make it less likely or even influence their career in higher education sector.   
The results of this study will be employed in project FREE and shall be treated with confidentiality. We would be grateful if you could take 30 minutes of your time and complete this questionnaire. Your answers are crucial for the project's outcomes.
