explain the parts or “major moves” of essays.
draft four types of paragraphs: introduction, body, transition, and conclusion.
craft substantial body paragraphs comprised of four types of sentences: topic, reasoning, evidence, and concluding.
vary your paragraphs’ length and style to fit the type and medium of the writing.
compose an effective opening, generate a substantial middle, and produce an effective closing.
brainstorm a working title.
