PSYCHOLOGICAL DETERMINANTS OF RAPID DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES IN STUDENTS (DURING ADOLESCENCE AND YOUTH)
Authors/Creators
Description
The rapid decision-making process in adolescents under extreme situations is a significant psychological phenomenon that reflects the interaction between cognitive, emotional, and behavioral systems in the brain. In contemporary society, adolescents frequently encounter unpredictable and high-pressure circumstances that require immediate responses and adaptive behaviors. However, owing to the ongoing development of self-regulation and executive functions, their decisions are often influenced by emotional reactivity rather than rational analysis. This study aimed to examine the psychological determinants of rapid decision-making in adolescents, focusing on emotional regulation, cognitive control, stress response mechanisms, and social influence.
