Description
The External Collaborative Project (ECP) focused on the implementation of TWIN robotic welding technology for cutting bars used in agricultural mowers at SaMASZ. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Bialystok University of Technology as part of research and development (R&D) activities co-financed by European Funds under the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014–2020. The primary objective of the project was to enhance the quality, durability, and repeatability of the cutting bar manufacturing process, while simultaneously reducing production costs through the automation of welding operations. The project constituted part of a broader strategic initiative aimed at developing advanced manufacturing technologies in line with the Industry 4.0 concept.
The primary objective of the project was to develop and implement an innovative, automated welding technology for cutter bars used in disc mowers, based on the TWIN welding process.
