THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED ADAPTIVE LEARNING SYSTEMS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING
Description
This study investigates the impact of artificial intelligence (AI)-based adaptive learning systems on the effectiveness of English language learning. In the era of digital transformation, AI technologies have introduced personalized and data-driven approaches to language education, enabling real-time adaptation to learners’ needs. The research aims to evaluate how adaptive systems influence learners’ vocabulary acquisition, grammar accuracy, and communicative competence. A mixed-methods approach was applied, combining quantitative data from experimental testing with qualitative insights from learner feedback and system usage analysis. The findings indicate that AI-based adaptive learning significantly improves learning outcomes by providing individualized feedback, optimizing task difficulty, and enhancing learner engagement. Statistical results show higher performance levels in the experimental group, while qualitative data highlight increased motivation and reduced learning anxiety. The study emphasizes the pedagogical potential of AI in English language teaching and offers recommendations for integrating adaptive technologies into educational practice. Future research directions are also proposed.
