Living to be 100: the symbolic construction of longevity through the biographies of centenarians
Authors/Creators
Description
Existing research has favored quantitative and biomedical approaches, focusing on genetic, physiological, or morbidity variables, while studies addressing longevity from qualitative and biographical perspectives are scarce, especially in the Spanish context. This project aims to contribute to filling this gap by exploring how centenarians narrate their life trajectories and give meaning to their longevity.
