A Research Paper on Online Job Portal (JiViKa)

Description

The rapid growth of digital platforms has significantly transformed traditional recruitment processes. An online job portal serves as an efficient bridge between job seekers and employers by eliminating geographical and procedural barriers. This research presents the design and implementation of a modern Online Job Portal system developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The system focuses on usability, scalability, and efficient data handling while providing personalized job recommendations and streamlined hiring workflows. Unlike traditional recruitment methods, the proposed system enables real-time interaction, centralized data storage, and automated filtering of candidates. Experimental evaluation highlights improved user experience, faster job matching, and reduced recruitment time. The study also discusses system limitations and outlines future enhancements such as AI-based recommendation systems and mobile integration.
