Description

We present a comprehensive multiwavelength analysis of the protoplanetary disk MWC 758, combining recent high-contrast imaging data from SHARK-NIR (H band), LMIRCam (L' band), and SHARK-VIS (H alpha) at the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT), as well as archival VLT/MUSE (H alpha) observations. Our primary goal is to recover and characterize the planetary companion candidates previously reported by Reggiani et al. (2018) and Wagner et al. (2023), whose detections remains elusive in recent datasets. By leveraging the unique synergy of simultaneous observations enabled by LBT's setup-with SHARK-NIR and LMIRCam, together with SHARK-VIS observations, we achieve sensitive detection limits across a broad spectral range. Despite the non-detection of the companion in our data, our analysis provides new constraints on the protoplanet candidates.
