Collection of Case Studies: How Much of the Puzzle Can We See?
Description
Given at the Research Data Alliance (RDA) 26th Plenary, this presentation provides a summary of the case studies collected by the RDA Sample Type Classification Working Group (WG). The WG had its own dedicated session, which also included contributed talks from relevant communties. This presentation served as a kick-off for the discussion of the next steps the WG will pursue. It was also reprised during the session held by the Physical Samples and Collections in the Research Data Ecosystem Interest Group. CASE STUDIES ARE STILL BEING COLLECTED until March 2027, submit yours here.
Abstract (English)
The first major task of the Sample Type Classification WG is the collection of case studies: we aim to get an overview of the variety of samples being investigated out there that we need to consider in the classification. In this session we report on the first results of that exercise.
