Key Concepts in World-Authority: A Provisional Glossary
Description
This glossary gathers the main terms I use in a larger project on world-authority and the preemption of encounter in contemporary popular narrative. Terms defined include world-authority, sincerity, defended narration, preemptive protagonist validation, institutional priority, preemption of encounter, preservation, delayed legibility, paratextual readability, value substitution, inherited constraint, holding under expansion, and serial pressure. The entries are offered for reference as a provisional conceptual orientation rather than as full arguments, and remain subject to revision in subsequent work.
