Data supporting the paper 'Systemic impacts of disruptions at maritime chokepoints' by Verschuur, Lumma and Hall (2025), Nature Communications: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-025-65403-w
The data includes:
-The country maritime import/export dependency on these 24 chokepoints, derived from 2022 trade data.
-The final results for the 'expected value of trade disrupted' and 'economic risk' metrics.
-The code to re-run the analysis.

There was an error in the original maritime import/export dependencies on chokepoints, so a revised version is uploaded.
