Digital Transformation of Household Gender Roles: TikTok Affiliate on Women's Economic Empowerment

The research aims to analyse the relationship between TikTok Affiliate and women’s empowerment, especially in increasing family economic participation and decision-making power. This aligns with the concept of TikTok affiliation and women’s empowerment as research variables as boarder digital ecosystem resilience framework. The research was conducted using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative methods involved distributing questionnaires and all research data have been through preliminary assumption testing. Based on correlation tests and hypothesis tests, the results of the study indicate a significant positive relationship between participation in TikTok Affiliate and women’s empowerment, so that the higher the level of involvement, the greater the economic contribution and role of women in decision-making in the household, thereby promoting gender equality and strengthening digital ecosystem resilience. Meanwhile, the qualitative method was carried out through Focus Group Discussions to determine homemakers' experiences with TikTok Affiliate, especially in encouraging digital economic participation, contributing to the family economy, and promoting changes in gender power within the household.
